Payment A deposit of 25% (non refundable)
of the total cost of your tour is required on booking the balance
is due no later than 28 days before the date of your tour.
Full payment is required if your tour starts within 28 days
of booking
Charges
We reserve the right to pass on to you
any bank charges and other costs we incur if payment is made in
a foreign currency or by any other method not normally accepted
by us or if we have to re-present a cheque.
Confirmation
Once we
have received your booking form and deposit, we will issue booking
confirmation and we will include the itinerary for the tour you
have booked.
Insurance
We do not include holiday/cancellation Insurance. You are therefore advised to consider purchasing your own holiday/cancellation insurance.
Health and Fitness
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that people undertaking a tour with Archaeotours are in good health and have appropriate level of fitness for the chosen itinerary.
If anyone going on the tour with you is disabled or has any medical problem that may affect their tour, you must give us full details before asking for your booking to be confirmed. If in our reasonable opinion, your chosen tour is not suitable for the disability or medical problem in question we have the right to refuse to accept the booking.
Alteration by us
We will make every reasonable effort
to follow the published tours, we do however reserve the right to
alter the programme if there are unavoidable conditions such as
adverse weather conditions, footpaths closed due to agricultural
restrictions or landslip.
Cancellation
By you - If you wish to cancel your tour after
the confirmation has been issued, it must be done in writing and
the following charges will apply.
More than 60 days
before the tour - deposit only 29 - 60 days - 75 % of cost Between 0
- 28 days - 100% of cost
Cancellation by us
In the event of the group
size being especially small, we will inform you of the situation.
If this is not acceptable to Archaeotours, we will offer alternative
dates or refund all payments made.
We will not cancel your tour
after the balance due date unless you fail to pay the balance due.(Deposits
are not refundable). Archaeotours cannot be held responsible for
cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as war, civil
unrest, natural disaster or any other situations beyond our control.
Liability
Archaeotours cannot accept responsibility for any loss
or damage to personal effects which is beyond our control. This
includes loss, damage, fatal or any other injury suffered by you
during your tour, except where Archaeotours is proven to be either
in breech of it's contractual duties or to have been negligent.
We cannot accept responsibility for any services which do not form
part of our contract. This includes, for example, any additional
services or facilities which your accommodation or any other supplier
agrees to provide for you where the services or facilities are not
advertised by us and we have not agreed to arrange.
Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse a clients participation on any tour/walk
if it is considered that they are either a danger to themselves
or others.
Complaints
Any complaint should be discussed with your
Archaeotours representative/guide as soon as possible and we will
endeavour to find a solution which is acceptable to all parties
involved.
We both agree that UK law (and no other) will apply to
your contract and to any dispute, claim or other matter of any description
which arises between us.
