Mary has lived in Pembrokeshire for over
20 years and knows many of the archaeological gems that
are hidden in the county. She is especially keen on
the interpretation of Prehistoric settlement and tool
manufacturing sites. She graduated from Trinity College,
Carmarthen and adds Archaeology BA Hons to her Certificate
of Education from Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln.
Mary ran a Guest House in Pembrokeshire
and is looking forward to welcoming guests and inviting
them to explore the archaeology of beautiful West Wales!
Wendy will be advising Archaeotours and helping us to offer specific tours for the Visually impaired and their families.
Wendy suffers from R P and although registered blind she has faced many enjoyable challenges. She has crossed Mongolia on horseback and ridden across the Canadian Rockies. In 2005 Wendy walked the entire Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
Wendy will vet accommodation and help us to arrange tours for all people with disabilities especially those with visual impairment.
New Guides may be appointed at any
time, but our guides are selected only from qualified
archaeologists who show a talent for guiding and communication.
